The App

Six tabs. One page a day.

Arete asks you a small number of questions on the first morning, then gets out of the way. Everything below is what it does with the answers.

Walking through the app, one tab at a time.

Today

One page, and what it asked of you.

The morning opens on a single page. The practices you chose during setup are already there as cards; the training programme has put today's session on it if today is a training day, and left it off if it isn't.

A rest day is not a failure — the record stamps whether a session was ever asked for, so months later a rest day and a skipped day still read differently.

Setup

Fourteen questions in two parts: who is asking, then what the app should do. It takes one sitting and you never repeat it.

Two horizons

Where you want to be in three months, and in a year. The day-180 and day-270 checkpoints ask for the next leg when they arrive.
